Name Change

I changed my blog domain name. It had been "OurWutzkeFamily1", but I decided to change it to "OurEternityJourney"- so now I get to start the process of letting all our friends and family know of the change so they can still find us and log in and visit~

On Our Way to Heaven's Gate

Up at 4:00am. Worked on my "Eight is Great, On Our Way to Heaven’s Gate"
FHE Lesson ideas (hope to start the eight week lessons the first Monday in October.). K brought home 4 more cases of strawberries, so, while listening to some Michael Buble, I did batches and batches of Strawberry Freezer Jam- so fresh tasting- yummy!

Cammon went to "see a man about a job".

Cabra came over and brought a Pampered Chef mandolin for us to try out= the crinkle cutter was the cool-est.

T-I-GG-E-R Slippers

The kids came over for pork roast dinner, homemade applesauce (and of course lots of corn!) Here Cammon is holding Trey while Nikki finishes her supper. They came back over later and Trey was sporting his PJs and

"T-I-Double Ga-ER" slippers! Too cute! Ready for some serious 'bouncing'!

Happy Birthday Mike!

My brother is not particularly a 'fan of the camera', but here's a few different shots of him I've managed to get over the past couple of months...

He and his pride and joy!

On the job...
Surveying the job...

Pricing the job...

Bossing the job... Instructing the job...
Doing the job...

Aftermath of the job (see both sets of fingers duct taped up from all the cuts and injuries?)
Off the job... (conferring about another job)
A little fun and relaxation time (Michael is sitting beside him under the blanket- see his fingers sticking through the holes?) A moment to smile and enjoy life...

Happy birthday our dear, sweet brother and uncle! Thanks for all you do for everyone- we love you so much!!!

Time for Freezer Jam!

Nikki looking at home (and so cute!) at the stove stirring the peaches...
Cammon supervising the job in one of our family's "heirloom aprons"...
One batch of strawberries ready to go... many more to go!
Check out the Canadian sugar behind me...
A sampling of our work: Peach Jam, Strawberry Jam and Raspberry Jam- delectable!
Some spillover of corn from our chest freezer...
Our freezer top loaded with corn, peaches, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, etc.
With our half of beef now buried at the bottom, we've decided the time has come for us to get another freezer! Put that on next week's 'To Do' list- we know the harvest won't wait long.

Cheese, Please!

80#s of cheese landed on our counter which we then needed to divide up amongst everyone (40#s of Colby and 40#s of Pepperjack-compliments of Cammon and Robert).

Moment for a photo op before we start...
Man on a mountain of cheese!

Okay, enough goofing off... time for some of us to get serious about the work at hand- enter Nikki and her biceps!

Check out her cute "comfort mit" (aka my oven mit!) :)
Here's me with the really hard job... bagging it up! Whew! I'm worn out!

Trey got tired of all the work and decided to find some fun in an big, empty box!
