Cantelope & Blueberries
Cantelope and Blueberries- one of my most often eaten snacks. Sadly, this is probably coming to a fairly quick end as tomorrow we yet again turn the calendar, coming that much closer to the end of summer :(

Placed our latest Scentsy order today (hurray!);
Noteworthy sites I visited today: Williams Sonoma- they were advertising their Panini Press.

On-the-Vine Tomato Rooting (Update & Expansion)
I’ve Got Roots!
This is the roma cutting that sits on my window sill. It’s getting some pretty roots on it- hurray! I’ll give it another week-ish, then try planting. I’m so excited!

I don’t see roots on my basil, though it is sprouting new growth. I’ll keep watching...

H202 Mini Drinking Bottles
Here's my cache of mini water bottles waiting for me to refill them today. I fill these with distilled water (about 5 oz worth) and a few drops of (35% food grade) H202 for the experimental 'H202 program' I'm doing.

I'm currently drinking 2 bottles a day with 4 drops each. I drink one bottle before I go to sleep- whatever time that is (between 11 and midnight hopefully!)- and one bottle first thing when I wake up in the morning (about 4:30-5:00 AM). I did an 'escalating' cleanse (meaning more and more drops each day until I hit about 15-20 drops 3x/day) this past January through March- this is more of a maintenence phase for me now.
Because I don't want to compromise the potency of the mixture, I only make up a couple of days worth at a time and then store them in a dark place (inside of small trays in the bottom drawer of my nightstand- puts them within easy reach). The original, undiluted H202 I store in my freezer.
Because oxygen is a corresive, other's shouldn't be touching or ingesting if they're not used to it. So... did you notice the cute little skull-n-cross bones I drew? :-)

Flood in our Basement!
Church in the morning and a flood at night! Fun! We had quite a hard downpour, which because of a large unattended to BBQ cover blocking the down spout, all ended up in a bedroom window well and right into the bedroom! In preparation for her upcoming move, Cabra happened to go downstairs to 'raid' things from her old bedroom and found the mess. There was standing water on the floor and the water had filled the window well about a quarter the way up the window. It looked like an aquarium- seriously! (The bedroom next door is a sea scape/cabana room- it would have gone prefectly with that theme!) We were glad the kids were all still here to help- bless their hearts! We also called my brother over (a plumber and jack-of-all-things-necessary). Jeremy jumped right in the window well and started handing buckets of water out to Kelly, Mike discovered the problem and set about to stop/prevent the problem (thankfully the rain had stopped by this time) while the girls, with mega towels and buckets in hand, started to deal with the flood inside. Then we got a 'shop vac' going, moved out the furniture, the guys later stripped out all the carpeting and padding (the padding we pitched) and set the fans going. Fun project for sure! We're so thankful everyone pitched in to help and so thankful Cabra went a-raidin'!
